Hello again. As an alternative to the resource icons, instead of 1-4 icons for each resource (as in, 1-4 HD for HD usage) what about just one icon per resource? Could graphically represent the HD with the platter quartered and shaded incrementally accordingly. Ditto the RAM and Wrench. The RAM (which would be better as 2 sticks in this case), each being able to be shaded by 2 increments (2 sticks as 4 increments in total), or, both could be dual 4 increments. The wrench icon could be quartered, and could dispense with the nuts/bolts. For the incremental graduations, they could be in shades of blue perhaps, and from light to dark.
However .... I think perhaps better would be icons (current HD, 2 sticks of RAM, and Wrench minus nuts/bolts) were instead modified to include a graduated vertical rectangle alongside (to the right?) each resource. Also, because the box for each resource icon is currently quartered in order to accommodate 1-4 icons, in the proposed rework of the icons those boxes would obviously not then be quartered, but have just the one icon - which could be resized then, to be about two-thirds the size of the box. The boxes could lastly then do with having no apparent border, so all that is seen displayed are just three vertical icons.
Again, no worries if you don't fancy any of the above.

Hello! Thank you for the improvements you have suggested! I really like the two layouts! I must admit I am a little worried that the name of each DE is a little harder to see in the first version and that's why I put all the DE names in a separate column in the first place… Still, I think your version looks a lot nicer. Please, feel free to modify the layout as you wish. Aligning the icons vertically is a great improvement!
- Thanks. Yes, I was not entirely happy with the proximity of the DE names in the first version - esp with the icons below being in the boxes and in current form. As it stands, perhaps the 2nd version is better. I wonder if, for that version, the DE icons could be included along with each of the DE names?
- Rgarding any modification of the actual page, if you want to incorporate anything from here, please help yourself.

As for the icons, I am not the designer of the icons: they were made by Ysabeau, who made substantial changes in order to make them easier for the visually-impaired. Therefore, I will ask for her opinion first ;)

I just had a very quick go at seeing what a DE logo would look like in the first column of the second example mock-up. Just grabbed the icon from the wiki, and didn't play around with the size - apart from an initial guess to make it small enough to fit within the column.
