Most of this should be done post-installation, as in many installation types network repos are not available.
Also, most of the functions are offered by MageiaWelcome, and there were already several proposals to improve that,
it would also work for all users after the installation. Additionally it offers more then the installer can offer, including links to documentation, first steps and support.
Simply adding a checkbox to the installer for tainted+task-codecs will not suffice IMHO.
