What is this page for?

This page is created, because we'd like to have a Mageia sound scheme and want to tell interested artists all they need to know, before they send their contributions.

Sound scheme policy

As stated here Artwork guidelines#Creating and Using Mageia Artworks, all Mageia artwork has the the CC BY-SA license
If you agree to have your soundfiles included in Mageia, you agree for them to have this license, too.

Probably, for now the sound scheme will only be used to replace the one in KDE

To be added

• format of the sound files
• length of the files (logout tune should be very short, at the most 1 second, to not give too much delay)
