This page represent a work in progress, and as such can change and is mainly used to gather informations about the project.

goal

The topic is about reviewing the privacy policy to be able to solve some issues :

• bug triager have trouble to assign bug to packagers
• people may not contact packagers as easyly
• apprentice cannot be contacted easily

However, a few people have objected to publication of email, and we may have some obligation regarding publication ( privacy laws like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_Protection_Directive )

Some other issues ( technical mainly ) need also to be solved

issues

• changing mail in ldap is causing issue due to the setup we use
  • bugzilla may not sync automaticaly
  • sympa use email as id
  • django application work ok ( tx )
  • forum may require syncing from ldap
