The information below is old.

This page lists the main groups used on the Mageia infrastructure, for each type of account. All Mageia groups a prefixed by "mga-".

  • packager : mga-packagers and mga-packagers-committers
  • apprentice packager : mga-packagers-commiters
  • mga-packagers-commiters : for Mageia packagers or apprentice packagers. This groups allows commits to the packages svn repository. Apprentice packagers are only part of this group, while full packagers are members of both mga-packagers-commiters and mga-packagers.
  • mga-packagers : Mageia packagers. This group allows issuing submit commands to the Mageia build system. It also allows access to the maintainers database.
  • mga-i18n : i18n team members
  • mga-i18n-committers : i18n team members with commit access.
  • mga-sysadmin : for Mageia sysadmin team members. Allow commits to the puppet svn repository and shell access on the servers.
  • mga-board : Mageia board members. Permit subscription to the board mailing lists.
  • mga-council : Mageia council members. Permit subscription to the council mailing list.
  • mga-iso_makers : gives access to the servers used to build the ISOs.
  • mga-forum-developers : Forum developers team, write access to forum git repository
  • mga-founders : Initial founders group
  • mga-web : Web team members, with commit access to the web repository.
  • mga-communication : Communication team members. Allow receiving emails on the press alias.
  • mga-qa : QA team members. Allow pushing updates.
