About #More Radical: Do we need standalone tools?

I agree with the fact that drakxtools need to be reviewed, but, we have to remember that these tools are what distinguished Mageia from other distros. Actually, what emerges from a debate I had with my former debian community is that all distros are more or less the same, but some have their own tools or specifities. We must not forget that these specifities draw users to use Mageia. Without them, Mageia will become as Kubuntu, Fedora KDE, Debian KDE ... I also agree with the argument saying that DE like XFCE, LXDE etc ... do not offer that much options ...

Then, I do think like you, Drak3D, mouse configuring tools should be depreciated because useless. Adding a tool which simplifies backups (like drakbackup in Mdv) should be good.

Drakx11 should be ported to configuring wayland not only buggy xorg.

About using GParted

(anaselli) GParted is great, but is a Gtk application. There probably is something for Qt I'm not sure there is anything for ncurses...
