Have we tested this recently?
i.e do user need to remove splash and quiet?
We should also describe the simpler method to get to prompt for i.e changing root password, per https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?t=6346
Maybe even better create a dedicated page for changing root password (to be easy to find in the wiki) - and there describe the simple method, and a link to this Rescue page here for more general method.
