What is drakx used for

Our software/drakx can be confusing, because it is used for the creation of

  1. drakx-installer-binaries
  2. drakx-installer-images
    • (ie the whole stage1 image generated from the stage1 binaries + system)
  3. drakx-installer-stage2
  4. drakxtools.

When updating something there, the correct NEWS file needs to be edited:

  • drakx/mdk-stage1/NEWS => drakx-installer-binaries
  • drakx/images/NEWS => drakx-installer-images
  • drakx/perl-install/install/NEWS => drakx-installer-stage2
  • drakx/perl-install/NEWS => drakxtools
