I propose to remove "VirtualBox is good for sporadic desktop use." As to my mind this not true at all. We could rather say "VirtualBox is good for desktop use."

I use it only sporadically, but true that sentence is better without that word.

Please do the edit :)

Tip: four tilde in a row by itself create the user+date line as it did here in my response.
