Security Team
Like most distributions, Mageia is concerned for the security of our user's systems. As such we try to monitor security issues affecting the OS and issue updates in a timely fashion to protect users from vulnerabilities.
As a community distribution, with all volunteer labor, this will take more collaboration than a company-based distribution with developers "assigned" to a main task of issuing updates. If you are aware of security issues affecting the distribution, we welcome you to open a bug in Bugzilla or send an email to <security@group.mageia.org>. The more information you can provide (links, patches, etc.), the easier it will be for us to react in a timely manner.
