Mageia meeting notes
A good meeting is:
- bound in time (keep it under 1 hour at most)
- bound in topic (have a meeting plan announced to parties in advance)
- has a publicly archived log (below) and a meeting summary; you may use a meetbot instance for that purpose (see below).
You may preferably use your team dedicated channel for meetings or use the #mageia-meeting channel. Seeing that Mageia values its openness, and it's international, we would prefer meetings to be in English, except for the i18n meetings and localized community meetings.
Meeting log and summary
We use Meetbot from Debian project to manage meetings logs and actions. Mageia's Meetbot instance is Inigo_Montoya; if you don't see him in your channel, you can ask the mageia-sysadm team. See Meetbot page for usage instructions.

- beware of DST changes!
- when planning for a meeting, allocate more time than expected and try not to conflict with other meetings (unless both teams are completely separate)
Board meetings
Regular board meetings will be held once a month on #mageia-meeting. Additional meetings will be held if needed.

Council meetings

Schedule: Council meetings take place every week for now to follow progress and todo list on #mageia-meeting.
Participants:
All team leaders of the existing teams are invited to attend. These are the meetings where direct discussions of important topics are held (according to the agenda, to be announced prior to the meetings), where decisions are made and actions started.
