Detailed Description

The left side should be more dynamic:

• sections/entries on the left side should be able to disappear/inactive/clickable/hoverable/...
• cancel/reboot option at the very bottom
• depending on choices/installer medium, some options could disappear
• if options are unchoosable they should be marked inactive/unclickable
• if options have been pre-chosen, via semi-automatic installer, it could be inactive/unclickable too
• when progressing, some options are irrevocable, and should become inactive/unclickable upon choosing
• at a certain point of no return, exit/cancel/reboot button should be marked differently too
• clicking at the option would go back to that step
• when extra options appear, due to choices, it could be inserted (think of clicking on custom, or unselecting everything)
• the active step should always be the correct one, don't show partitioning if you're already choosing media or similar.
• some installs have preinstalling some packages before doing the rest, the steps should be modified accordingly.
• artwork will need to be likely more dynamic to account for the underlying theme to be nicely visible

Why it would be good for Mageia to include it

It would be a nice visible change, but also have some extra functionality in installer. Also a sort of wow-effect could be seen if the left side is changing depending on options chosen.
